can't connect to any online mode (pc)

I've been trying for the last week to connect to one of the online modes, and each time it refuses to connect, the next message appears every time i try "Unable to connect to
Connection Test Server. The server may be too busy or taken down for maintenance
work....."

I have no router and I'm using Ethernet cable (cable connection),I turned off window 7 firewall.
Another thing i try to do is to open ports there are suggested in konami website. I sent several emails to Konami support and they respond by automatic mails that are not so effective for me.

Did some one manage to fix a similar problem?

Have you patched the game in anyway? some might not be compatible with patch 1.0.2. For that matter have you installed the patch yet?
