Changing the ML difficulty problem

Hi all, can anyone help please? I've started playing ML on 5 stars difficulty but now i have a killer team (btw Chelsea rules!!! lol) so i want to increase the game difficulty and im waiting for the end of the season to do so. But the transfer peroid comes and it seems i can't go to the 6 stars level even tho i bought it earlier??! Is the problem i havent bought it before starting the carrier game??? How can i increase the game diff or can i transfer my team to new carier game somehow but with 6 stars??? Please help, the game is too boring and too easy now :(

1. Yes, this is a very stupid question.

2. You have to wait until the end of the season until you can change the difficulty.

1. I know you have to wait for the end of the season i've said so in the question, but the game doesnt open 6 stars for me even tho i bought them, like i said in the question

If you bought 6 stars AFTER starting your ML then it won't be avaliable to you. Simple as that.
