COM managers are pissing me off.

Why is it when I start my league or cup, the COM managers go and undo all of my roster and formation corrections?

A prime example: I'm using Liverpool and I'm browsing thru the other teams' info, and sure enough at Barca, Ronaldinho is back on the bench(ridiculous), along with Xavi and others - all replaced by scrubs. Formations are all changed back to accomodate the old line-ups as well.

This is not a good thing, considering I spent 2 days correcting everything.

And don't even ask how Chelsea's first team looked. Crespo, Mutu, and Makelele - all second teamers - in case you're wondering.

I played Real Madrid, with Beckham, Ronaldo and Raul and all dropped. Still lost

Is there any way to fix this besides laboriously transferring away all the players COM starts in their stead?

Because some of those players as you all know are not bad, and play a key role coming off the bench.

I noticed that too...But i believe you cannot do a lot things about this..Its very annoying indeed.. :circle:

Hmm... I don't know what I did different, but Barca was pretty much good to go when I started another ML.

The only one not starting (this time) for the boys in blue was Makelele..

To make sure it wasn't an accident, I started 3 new ML's - and got all the same results... Teams are still screwed up, but not nearly as bad. Munich is a shit sandwich yet, and Real Madrid and others are starting 1-2 random players each.

I dunno. Any suggestions, fire away.

I know, I know. I should just get a damn x-port and end all of this.

I figured it out.

Here's how to make sure the COM managers piss you off nevermore:

I'll use Luis Figo as my example.

When looking at Real Madrid's tourney or season stats, it is frustrating to see Figo as a role player coming off the bench. The COM managers aren't necessarily stupid, they are just one-track minded and lack the editing powers you and I have.

Figo is listed as an OMF. Solari, who I'm sure is a wonderful player and all, is in there instead of Figo as a *DMF*.

All you have to do, and this change will apply to the middle of the season, is save, and fly back to your player edit option and change Solari's primary position to Figo's old one, and change Figo to a DMF.

And so on for the other roster mistakes........
