Dark text against dark background. Wolf patch help.

When I install the wolf patch I get dark background bits which mean that you can't actually see some of the black text, this is most evident in the master league where you can't see your total wage bill. Is there any way of getting the old menu back whilst still keeping all the kits, players, stadiums etc etc etc. Which file affects background screens?
