Easy way to win the ball back!

Hi guys I have really been struggling with defending on this game, however I've realised that if you hold down x and square(ps3) at the same time 9 times out of ten you can regain posession quite easily. I'm playing on pro and have just kept 3 clean sheets in a row.

if you hold up play with x an R2 then suddenly release R2 and keep that x down it seems to win easily as well.

I foul so much online, I defend by backing off the attacked and holding square and let the cpu tackle. This does not work in this one haha! Fouls the good players non stop!
