Editing player contracts?

Hi, I just downloaded the UML 2025, and the master league starts in 2025. I added two players to a team by creating them and then transferring them. The problem is that their contracts are set to expire on August 31, 2021, so after the first "next" in the master league, they become free agents. I tried with the Pes 2020 Editor V0.12.9 by Ejogc327 but the field for "Contract until" is all grayed out with "0000/00/00" (the same goes for the field below it, "Loan Until." Both have a checkbox next to them with an 'X' but you can't check or uncheck it and there's no evidence you can change a contract. Does anyone know how to edit a player contract in PES?
