I like many of us on here are religious premiership watchers and every year seem to be dissapointed at the lack of liscensed premiership teams in pes 6. although my club is going to be official this year (finally) i am somewhat dissapointed at the fact pes 6 is advertised on premiership sideboards when the teams in the match aren't even liscensed in pes 6. is it just me or is that wrong to do that?

Not really. The club gets money from Konami to carry PES6 adverts at their stadium. Thats all there is too it. Nothing in the advert says 'this club is licensed'.

If Konami had a problem with it they wouldn't advertise at Premiership grounds.

This is something that baffles me, sales of Pro Evo in England I'm sure are strong so for Konami not to push for the licence of the Premiership is strange. I know that FIFA hold the licence but KONAMI have proved that they can gain individual teams, although rumours suggest that they can only have 2 teams because of FIFA. Whats strange is that KONAMI now have a licence with the FA to put Englands national side in! Surely FIFA aren't allowed to have this monopoly although you only have to look at SKY TV to see champions league footie, ITV get 2 matches only!
This is annoying but surely KONAMI should do everything possible to get this sorted.

Konami sell enough games in England without having to pay the over the top prices premiership clubs would charge for official licences. Obviously theyve made deals with some clubs but perhaps the others are simply asking for too much.

If we, the customers, insisted Konami pays these high prices then the cost of the game would be pushed up and that cost would be forwarded on to us. Someone has to pay and Konami have obviously worked out that it would be unreasonable to expect us to pay more for a game.

EA may pay these rates but do so at the expense of game designers - which would you rather have ?
