Fifa and Pro Evo Released Same Day

the games are always released within a week of each other. usually you will find if one of the companies decides to release earlier the other company will also do the same. the games will be released at the end of october or start of november, as always.

If i were Fifa i would release one now, another one when Pro launched; and another one short after that...It wouldn´t mind: they´d all be crap in a beautiful box! EAT SH** FIFA...please?

I reckon they will try to release PES4 a week before FIFA 2005, because given the choice of the two products side-by-side on the shop shelf, your average no-nothing numb-nuts in the street will probably opt for FIFA because of the pretty packaging. Konami knows this i'm sure.

It is VERY hard to prove monopoly and to get damages. It is "not" EA's fault that they bought sole FIFA licence. Until that agreement expires, other companies will have to be satisfied with FIFPro. So it is not a case of money. Konami already tried to go around this problem by offering a trade agreemnet with EA and letting them use Japanese League licence (sole licence of Konami and licence that EA doesn't have) for Fifa licence. And all of us can see what the answer from EA was. This is another reason why Konami outsells (and always will) Fifa in Japan.

And to come back onto the topic like hitmanuk said, do not expect it before early November.

Well yeah, EA know that if Konami were to acquire the same license that they have, it is game over for Fifa, they need that, without it, they are nothin.

This is football is released first then evo then fifa comes after usually, even fifa know konami are ownin their ass so i doubt they'd risk getting shown up by releasing their game on the same day as konami's game.
