* If there was a topic about this subject I'm sorry, I'm now back to the forum and I hope I'll ...

Most of you know that Konami did the big step that can easily change the map of the Soccer games - Konami announced that the next game of the PES series (PES3), will be released to the PC.

I think this is a big move, and I really hope that the battle against FIFA will be good, because most of the PC gamers don't know a lot about PES3.

So the question is, which version will you buy? the PS2 like always? or the PC version (that probably will have a option to play online)?

think about it ... we may have a PES3 league !

I'll buy both versions.

I also want to ask you what do you think about this move ...?

It's a great idea. PC online matches?
Easier editing and patching. No more wasted CDs. I think the PS2 version will always look and play better. Will people get the USB adapter to use a PS2 controller on PC?

I'll be getting both.

It will be great when it comes out on the PC just think people will make championship manger patches that link the two games.
Swos patches so you can have all the leagues and players available when you play.

Play anywhere in the world no langauge problems ACE UNLIMITED UPDATES.

It has been confirmed hasn't it? I think patching PES and Championship Manager so that they play in tandem is perhaps being a bit too optimistic!

Anyways I'm still gonna get it on PS2, then mates can play and I can play PES2 whilst posting on PESInsight :) Why play mates over the net when you can watch them cry when you beat their asses at home! Patchin gis the only thing that attracts me to the PC version, but hey I'm sure Nokami will get the names, kits and badges sorted eventually (they bloody better asap!)

I don't think that the PES series will ever pull out in front of FIFA as much as it deserves to until they get everything official. Why can't they see they'd make more money on sales than it would cost getting it official. I personally think that's the main reason people stick with FIFA - afterall only that the commentary and the menus are the only things that FIFA do better than PES anyway
