gamepad lag

well ive posted this question elsewhere and have gotten no replies. hope ill find some answers here. Anyway..

i've been playing online we9 for a while and find that using a logitech precision (cheapo gamepad, despite the name) controller, i have little control of the ball when i get it, the passing direction screws up, but most significantly, the players take like a second to pass the ball. So what i did was to use the keyboard and it seemed much better, almost similar to when i play pes5 on ps2. Im a complete goner at the keyboard controls and obviously using a gamepad would be better. It seems like a controller problem to me..but im not too sure.

Question is, has anyone experienced such slow reaction from a controller before, or is it the norm to have a significant lag time in this case? Any remedy? Thanks

I guess you could try using a different gamepad and see if the delay is less. Maybe your gamepad might work better if you install its drivers but that's a total guess and may not apply to you.

hi..thanks for replying. the controller doesnt come with a cd so im not too sure about installing the drivers. i think ill go get an adapter to plug my ps2 pad into the USB
