So the Japanese version is looking really tempting right now, but I have a few concerns:

1. Option Files for said version seem to be rare, and I read something about a 7-kit limit? What is that? Does it mean it won't be possible to get all the proper kits and emblems as with pategato's OF for WE2007? Also are Japanese OFs difficult to come across (I realize now is not a good way to judge since the games just came out and OFs are massive work) or will they get easier to find and better as time goes on?

2. The EU version seems to be the easier route for OFs but I've read you need to use HDMI to play it in US PS3's? Is that true? That could be a major problem because I'll be moving out next month and while I do have an HDTV right now I can't afford one on my own.

Ok... i'm not aware you need to use HMDI at all, but as i don't live in the US i cannot 100% confirm. Would seem odd if it was the case though.

Try connecting to your HD tv by normal PS cable (you will need to hard-reset your machine to allow to display properly) If it works they wayhey. If not, then i've learnt something.

Re OF's, i'd look at the EU ones to be honest. This site usually has a bloody good selection, although new gen pes editing restrictions have negatively affected the output.

Expect more after the Jan window...
