hey im new to the website and i have just bought a Max-Drive for my PS2. Ive seen a lot of posts about the max drive and i know about the option files that can be put onto the Ps2 using this. But i was just wondering:

1) Could someone tell me the best PES5 (ps2) patch i could use? i have a NON-patched playstation 2.

2) Also can anyone tell me any other things i can do with it? Could i make a bootpack and put it on my ps2 using the Max-Drive, or do i need a patched ps2?

Thanks

Patched PS2?

1. There's no such thing as a patched PS2.

2. There is such a thing as a patched game.

3. The best PES5 patch out there (or so I've heard), is the team pes-x-ppf patch.

4. You will need a chipped PS2 or a method of playing imports/backup games (ie, Swap Magic) in order to play a "patched" game.

5. To modify boots you will need a method of playing imports/backup games.

6. You only use a max drive to transfer option files onto your PS2.
