im getting increasingly fustrated at the pro evo series now, i have not properly enjoyed it since pes4 but stil i buy it coz there is no other game for football other than fifa which was on my last experience of playing... dreadful

but that was a few year ago and wonder if its changed. im so tempted to have a go on the latest installment but ont want to pay anything which leads me to my question, if you could have the new fifa for free would you give it time of day?

ive had enough of players missing open goals, belting it at the keeper when hes way out of position, chipping the keeper being almost impossible, keepers bringing me down in the area and getting nothing and when the very rare occasion he does he only gets booked! going clean through and the last man chops me down, outside the area and he only gets a booking. that is just a brief list of the faults on this game. i would love for another games maker to bring out a football game to rival the "big" 2, come on capcom do your thing!

I'd take the free FIFA game. PES 2008 online disappoints me so much that I'd rather play PES 6 online.

Perhaps Rockstar would like to delve into the football sim market. :shifty:

How many times are pundits talking about decisions not all are right fair enough i admit its frustrating but other times it has gone in my favour!!

I for one will not play fifa unless it becomes EA iss pro evo (its in the game lol)

I know what you are saying......i was that pissed off with pes2008 that the thought of buying FIFA also crossed my mind.( if you knew me you would realise this thought would NEVER cross my mind normally!) I think i will give the next release of PES a chance and make my mind up from there.

Lets just hope the people at Konami actually read websites like this and actually do something about the problems for a change because pro evo is still the only footy game for me.

im not saying i want every decision to go my way, i want to get the ones i dont and maybe not get the ones i do. i looked on my record and in over 340 games ive had 14 penalties. and theres at least once every game im brought down in the area and not get it,

like i say i know what you mean about the debateable decisions but cast iron penalties i want

also bring a man down in a goal scoring opportunity or last man and its a red no debating and that VERY rarely happens

Again it all depends on variables like the ref, some games hes great and gives every decision and other refs seem to be watching in the stand, i think if you want what your asking for we will loos e the realism within the game, cmon how many pens arent given in the Premship and red cards for that matter!!!

u can think its a penalty but same as in a real game ur gonna get frustrated with decisions thats what makes it so realistic!

You cant be much of a football fan if u want a football game to give every decision perfect and 100% how boring would that be!

I totally agree. Its not that you want the 50 / 50 decisions to go your way, but the totally blatant fouls that dont get given or if a definate red card tackle only gets a yellow or nothing at all. Yet while this is going on your players get sent off even if you get the ball and the player isnt through on goal !

This happens in real life!

did you watch the Liverpool -v- Inter game yesterday. The first yellow card wasnt even a booking yet he still got it! (and im a liverpool fan!)

You cant make a game where every decision is perfect that would be boring, it makes it more realistic if things like this happen

If you was a football fan you would understand this already and enjoy this part of realism in pro evo 2008

To Scouse - as for you earlier quote on things that happen in "real" football. I have been watching and playing "real" football for the last 27 years ( at the highest level you can without being pro might i add)so i think i have quite a good idea what the great game is about.

if you play real football and understand it you would know that you dont always get 100% of the decisions, even stone wall penaltys arent given all the time its called human error and im glad that they have got that into a computer game as well

would be so boring if every decision was right all the time!

tr1n1ty the online game is good, the lag can get annoying when its really bad thats why i hardly play ranked games!

can be annoyin when u got someone who is boring and runs to the wing then rolls it across goal to score

i guess its the same as playin with ya mates really, but just means u can do it whenever an not have to arrange it

i dont actually play pro evo offline no more against the computer seems to easy so i just do online play

finally somebody understands my point, oh and its a mighty leeds fan,

i mean jesus christ read what ive put again, i dont want EVERY decision and i dont give a shit what ref is reffing when the keeper/last defender takes down a player through on goal or in a goal scoring opportunity its red and a penalty/free kick

yes some stone wall pens arnt given, but thats like 1% not 99% like i seem to be experiencing

as said before anybody who is willing to watch a particular teams next 340 games and see whether they get more than 14 penalties please let me know the outcome

Dont get me wrong MP78 id love to beat leeds again in the prem and im sure Utd only went down 1 division and i barely remember!!!

Tis a shame about them and i think it will be harder without Dennis he seemed to have fire in his belly for ya!!!!
