Hey guys,

I know its been covered somewhere, but could not find it

How do we sprint now in PES 2012 ?

In PES 2011, it used to be the R1 button but for some reason R1 does not do much in terms of sprinting ?

If you are using the default controls sprint is still R1. Maybe the players just aren't as fast as last year, the pace has decreased slightly.

The fastest you can move is by rapidly tapping R1 though you will soon lose possession if you tap r1 with a defender approaching

i find i need to actually get my player moving with the L stick for a little before pressing R1 then once you get moving 3 taps of the r1 will move the ball further ahead then i hold own R1 whilst my player is making ground on the ball then if a defender is coming onto me as soon as I touch the ball i hold down r1 + r2 for a surge of speed.

I will say this fener do the training on dribbling it helps get the basics down a lot.
