How to update new PESEDIT patch whilst saving my created player?

Hi,

I hope someone with knowledge of editing files can help me here.

Here's the situation.

In my ML I created a new player with the base copy of C. Ronaldo.

This new player has different abilities, appearance etc.

It was transferred to my team before I started the ML.

Now I've upgrading to the newest PES Edit Patch from the old patch.

Everything works well, except when I load my ML, my created player had turned into the appearance of C. Ronaldo but has retained all the other stats.

Is there a way of installing the new patch whilst keeping my created player?

I have the backup of the game before I patched it.
