I`m here to apologise to every fan of WE7, and here`s why..
All this talk about PES3 vs WE7 and PES3 being ALOT better than WE7 is a total bullshit. There were a few threads marked as "PES3 vs WE7" and the newer thread where a mate said PES3 was much better than WE7 and I was supporting his opinion. Well I was a fool - and I way WAY WAY wrong. As many of you know I have both WE7 and PES3. I got WE7 on August 11th I believe..and I`ve played maybe 10 matches only - for some reason I wasn`t too excited or happy. So all this talk about PES3 on this board I decided to buy PES3 as well - so my PES3 arrived aroung October 23rd. So since then I`ve been playing it until yesterday. I read what Larsson had to say and GFK and other mates. So I played WE7 last night, then some more today and I`m telling you WE7 is ALOT and I mean ALOT better than PES3. I can`t believe the biggest football fans continent (EUROPE) gets screwed by KONAMI. I guess KONAMI puts alot of more effort in creating WINNING ELEVEN SERIES ( for Japanese people & along with North America *USA* ) then they do for PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER (Europe). They should focus more on building a game that will dominate the entire Europe. I did alot of research on the internet and ALOT of people agree that WE7 is alot better in every way than PES3 is. And when I speak alot of people I mean European countries, Asia, Africa, Middle East, and yes even the United States. If you don`t believe me what I1m saying do a search yourself and you`ll see the results. Now here are some reasons why WE7 is better than PES3:
- WE7 offers better (slower) gameplay which makes the game VERY realistic. My PES3 plays on 60Hz and it`s still alot faster than WE7. I can`t imagine how would it be if I played on 50Hz.
- Passing is much better, the players cooperate with eachother and if you use your brain the right way they`ll make sure that the ball gets to the right man or a target.
- Now this is a BIG thing for me. In PES3 the ball just seems too small and too light. So when you do long passes the ball is so fast and it just feels so light it`s like the wind is blowing 100 kilometers per hour (totally unrealistic). Now in PES3 the players look way too small compared to WE7. I use Broadcast 3 camera and the players still look small, and it`s not my vision I have a great vision but the players are too small on the pitch.
- In WE7 players move and run way better than they do in PES3. What I mean is when you move slowly with your player you`ll notice that they either walk or run very slowly, while in PES3 players only run or even when moving slowly they seem to walk like robots on batteries. Now the real TEST to this is when you use Broadcast 3 camera and when the camera aims at your player - do you see any difference the way players move in PES3 and WE7 ?? you just can`t miss it.
- I don`t have any stutter bug in my WE7 or in my PES3 so both games play very smooth. However when I play PES3 I can1t hear any noice in my PS2 the cd spins without making any noice but when I insert WE7 dics in a tray I hear alot of spinning noice whish is very anoying.
- WE7 is alot harder and the computers defense is much tighter. Dribbling is hard as well but it can be done if you use Zidane or Davids

- Is it me or WE7 offers better graphics..what I mean is like when I play PES3 no matter what stadium I choose to play on it`s foggy, while in WE7 I get a better picture. This is not because PES3`s format is PAL (I have modded PS2 with DMS3 V2.0 it can`t get any better) and my TV set is just perfect - so IMO graphics are better in WE7.
- PES series need to get better commentary. PES3 offers poor commentary and I can`t stand it. They need to improve this section. Even though I don`t speak or understand Japanese the commentary is better.
This is about it, I`m sure there`s alot of other things that I need to discover, but I don`t wanna make this thread long as it already is. Any PES3 fan should not be offended because of this thread. Keep in mind, this is only my opinion and my beliefs. I strongly recommend that all of you WE fans buy WE7:I. From what I`m hearing it`s going to be better than WE7 - more polished, with new stadiums, you`ll be able to change keepers outfits and stadium names are editable. Juventus FC along with Feyenoord are licensed (PES3 already has) and the game will offer few international languages so make sure to get a copy of it..
