Is it possible to transfer a ps2 optionfile for Pro evo 6 to a ps3???

I seriously need help! I need to transfer a ps2 optionfile from my pc over to my ps3? Now, I assumed any regular usb stick would suffice to transfer the actual file... But this may not be the case??? I wonder if maybe I have to have a maxdrive like on the ps2, but seeing how the ps3 actually recognizes my "Kingston Usb 2.0 data traveller" I'm not sure....

Help!!!
Does anyone know how to do this?

How to get the file onto your PS3:

It really couldn't be easier. All you have to do is have a USB memory stick. On the USB memory stick, create a folder called "PS3". In the PS3 folder, create another folder called "Export" and then in the Export folder create yet another folder called "PSV". After you've downloaded the Option File, put it in the PSV folder on your memory stick, and plug the memory stick in to your PS3. On your PS3, go to the Game section, and select Memory Card Utility. Then Select "USB Device", and you should see the Option File. Press triangle on it, and then select Copy. Simple as that.

I got a usb flash drive 2.0 from p.c world for 20 quid.phy technologies is the maker.the only thing is you will have to download a new option file.
