with jonboyos patch i was curious as to how he made the commentator say the real team names such as "arsenal", "chelsea", "river plate" etc.
anyone have any idea?

It is not jonboyo that has done this, he has compiled a lot of other peoples work. You will find a credit in patch to the relevant people. He (I forget his name) has taken call names from previous games and also recorded sound bites from the television.

He has then edited them using a sound editing program (funnily enough!) and then inserted them in the relevant slots. And God bless him for doing it!
