Heya guys I got a question:

I tried to buy Balotelli yesterday and i had 7 million euros on the main screen. My expected earnings were 16 million euros. I had an agreement to buy Balotelli for 34 million euros but when I tried to close the deal, the game said "Insufficient funds". My plan was to recover the money at the end of the seasons or by selling a player but apparently u can't go under 0 in mid season?

And where does the game look at to say "Insufficient funds", at the main screen money or at the expected earnings?

I had the same thing happen. As you suppose, you are correct.
Finances > Expected Earnings > Current Funds is the value you have to remain within. Since the transfer that you have to pay at that time gives you a negative value for current funds you cannot do it, regardless of what Expected Earnings may be.
