Ive been playing on PES 2008 PS2 for the past few weeks and im struggling so far if anyone can give me some advice or send me to some useful posts on this site (im having trouble finding ones that relate) id be grateful! I like a challenge so ive put it on Proffesional and started with a slightly edited Master League standard team. I have traded most of the poor players I had as much as i could for better ones so I have a reasonable squad on paper 50% new 50% what you start with. Ivarov is doing ok in goal and my defence is solid but i am struggling scoring against even the poorest teams. They seem to have so many defenders back all the time and im finding it hard to break down teams. Ive just switched to my old 2006 and 2007 foramtion of 4 - 3 - 3 but I just cant score enough. I have 6 draws 2 losses no wins so far and at the bottom of league 2 - My strikers and Hamsun - Raziak - Stern John - Gregoriaz - Castollo - I have C Jensen in Midfield - Gareth Bale at Left Back - which are ok on paper but a bit slow down the wings. The problem is now Im so far down the league that I cant even sign new talent. I need to trade players I guess as i cant afford unaffiliated players - but who can I buy that will actually make a difference? What formation works best for maximum goal scoring in your experience? And what settings should I put the formation on ie Attacking direction -> <- , Defence low mid or high. , I currently have my RB LB on Attack -> <- and high def , my LWF and RWF on -> and low defence and my CF on -> attack and low def. Any recomendations?
