I don't think it's ever been possible to play with a Master League team online. Can you imagine the amount of cheating going on if we could?

you should be able to, it says so in instructions and you can load your master league team when you go to x box live options. i too have tried but didn't manage it. unfortunately it says any development, or kit changes will not be reflected. but seens as i can't manage it anyway, doesn't matter too much

you gon on the live options load the team, go to set up the match and make you sure you choose 'all' on the team bit. when you go to choose your team just click master league.
this only works in player games though.
