To be released in late October, the expansion continues where the original Neverwinter Nights 2 ended.
If you haven't finished NWN2 and don't want to know the ending, avoid pretty much all internet talk of the expansion. The game starts at level 18 and increases the level cap from 20 to 30, meaning many more 9th level spells and, I hear, incredibly fighter and rogue feats. There are plenty of improvements in the expansion, not least the fact that no single NPC is ever forced upon you during the game, something many people criticised in NWN2.
Preview but be warned that it mentions the ending to NWN2. Should be ok if you start reading from the third paragraph, directly below the first picture in the article.
