ok ok i undertsand that youre all gonna say well durrrrrr, well playing it this afternoon against 2 kids who dont usually play it i felt some what embarrassed at the ease i was given free kicks, the refs give too many yellow cards for very sinister fouls!

A perfect example was i was playin my nephew and ronaldo ran across the front of vieria! ronaldo was rolling around on t'floor like a titty la la and he was stretcherd off then i was sent off !! i was gob smacked!

today my mates were playing but they had to abbandon the match after 1 of the of got 5 players sent off b4 half time on a 10 minute game!

my excuse could be he plays to much fifa (booooooo) but having 5 player sent off in 45 mins shows that the refs are TAKING THE PISS

Refs are usually harsher on 5* and will give more fouls, especially against those not used to the game.

When playing with newbies take the difficulty down a bit to make it easier for them.

Refs are even more strict on 5* in WE7:IJ ;)
Is he sure that it was for a foul in the corner? Maybe there was an off-the-ball foul just inside the area?

But it can be annoying that sometimes the refs get a major decision wrong. I have beaten the last defender with a chipped pass or a one-two and I'm approaching the keeper for a one-on-one - then whoever I am playing fouls my striker with a dirty challenge from behind. I get a free kick. Sometimes he gets a yellow and that's it! If I mistime a challenge near the middle of the pitch, it's a red. Shame. Anyways.....

I find that the challenges from behind are always red cards, to be expected. But what annoys me are the very late tackles that go straight through the front of the player and take him out, but only ever get a yellow! Also my mate fouled me once, my player rolled over and the ref. blew and the croud yelled. But the player on the floor got red carded. When the free kick was taken it said that the player who fouled was sent off after all! He wasn't even in the cut scene when my player was carded though.
