Not played Pro Evo Online for a long long time and thought I would give it another go after Patch 1.3.
Got to say its improved a lot.....(or maybe it is just me)
However, Unfortunately I cant say that the experience was a good one as within a couple of matches I was introduced to the new lame goal scoring method which makes the cut-back look like sheer dazzling class......It seems that on PES 2009, there is actually a 'set-goal' whereby if you run your man straight until he is 2-3 yards out forming a kind of 30 degree angle between the goal (in reality, not an easy position to score from against a good keeper due to narrowing of target), then it is a goal every time. This is far worse then any cut-back or any twenty turns in the box until the easy goal arises as at least those required a variation of animation in the sprites. This goal offers the exact same animation everytime!
This would have driven me utterly up the wall in the past but fortunately I now just enjoy the game for what it is and do get a lot of enjoyment from the game. However, it has to be said that this change in attitude comes mainly from not playing two player competitive matches anymore.
Cant play online PES (until very recently), and every single one of my mates has now converted to FIFA 09 (except me....PC gamer only)
