I had a similar problem on PES6 but as it was crap for the PC i never ended up playing it much.
Part way into the match the sound seriously messes up and starts making screeching noises. So i turned BGM effects off and it seemed to stop it messing up. Now when im playing music via winamp it causes winamp to stop playing and starts going crazy again.
Guess ill just have to try scrap sound altogether because they got a monkey to code the sound and it must be seriously messed up and disorganised using random channels.
Using SB Audigy OEM (SB0090) Tried to update drivers today but the only ones available are
A) From Microsoft Update that cause my soundcard to stop working altogether
B) From Soundblaster that have a warning not to install for Sb Audigy SE which i guess my card is as they cause it not to work..... in fact ill try install those again after ive got it working from rescuing it from what the Microsoft drivers did.
Anyone else having issues with PES08 and low end sound cards?
EDIT: Have updated drivers now seems they work after ive got rid of the crap that Microsoft put on my PC, will have to try see if it solves the problem now.
