PES4 tournament advice

Hey all, great to be back on another PES experience.

My club is thinking about hosting a PES tournament at our ground to raise some cash for the club. This is in the very early stages and so we need advice on what's the best way to go about this without upsetting the PES4 and Konami gods.

Do we need special permissions/licences and how much?
Has anyone else done something similar at uni etc.? Was it a success and what made it so good?
What other criteria needs to be taken into consideration?

As far as I know you don't need official permission. There have been plenty of tournaments with no official recognition with money being won.

You need to sort out a few details such as:
venue - is it large enough, are there refreshments available etc.
price - how much is the entry fee and will people get enough matches played after paying this much?
prizes - is the prize fair when related to how much has been paid be players?
PS2s - you need plenty of PS2s with TVs - with appropriate scart cables where possible. Some TVs need a remote to switch to an AV/External scart channel so don't foget the remotes!
Controllers - have plenty and tell players to bring their own too.
Setup and schedule - set it up so that people aren't sitting around for too long without playing. Let people know who+when+where they are playing. Let people know that if they aren't at the PS2 at a certain time they will lose the match. This should make people turn up on time and matches will all get played so that the tournament doesn't end at 2am.

Be sure to advertise the tournament as much as possible, including at all the PES forums you can find. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
