Pro Evo 3 - jerky gameplay!?!

Hi.
I am totally new to this forum, so I don't really know what other people think about Pro Evo 3 yet.

But to me it seems that there is a lot of stuttering and jerky gameplay. Both with 50Hz and 60Hz display.

It this a general tendency or is my PS2 getting old??
