Ok so I have played the demo and Im getting to grips with the new PES in some ways but I have found a lot of issues with it. My biggest problem is the card system. I can see what Konami is trying to do but in my opinion they have rushed this system through and it does not feel as if it has been built into the game properly.

Consider the "Incisive Run" card. In my opinion this card is almost useless. If you are controlling a player with this card e.g. Messi...then any "incisive runs" you make will depend upon your ability ONLY. It will depend on your playing style and how you use Messi. I have had countless moments where I have turned this card off and I still manage to make "Incisive runs". This card will ONLY affect the com controlled players and rarely if at all affect the user.

I will admit there are a few other cards that may be useful, but I think Konami has not considered carefully which card affects the way the player plays and which cards actually help the human player.

^True. But as you mention "it will affect the com controlled players". It helps improving the AI at your team mates. If you control a great passer, the other players on your team (if you have turned on their cards) will make runs unlike the previous versions of pes. But i is only an opportunity, and it is the first pes with this feature. Let's give it some time before we judge. Sure it will work out when you play a league and learn which players' cards to use and when.
