PS2 default option editing?

Hi I was just wondering 'caus, I know it possible to edit the game graphics of PES 4 to PS2 if you make new DVD RW backups, if I could edit the option file also on my PC?

I know when PES4 starts on PS2 it loads with a default option file, if you are not using a memory card.

Is it possible to edit the default options and then make a new DVD RW backup with the changes???

I believe it is the splm file in the image which contains the option file data. But it is a long-winded way of editing the option file.
Buy a Max Drive for £13 and download the free pesfan option file editor. Then you can edit any PES4 option file you like before transferring it to your mem card and don't need to waste extra CDs or DVDs.
Alternatively you can try the CD2mem method to burn option files.

Thanx Zygalski - but I just wanted to know - it is possible at all to edit the default option file - and if it is, which program do you use...
I have no plans on buying a Max Drive

You're still being a bit vague so try to explain in more detail what exactly you are trying to do and what kind of result you're looking for.
Until then, you can use the pesfan option file editor.
