PS3 Pro Evo 2008. Getting the ball in the net!?

I am from a Fifa Background. Been playing Fifa 2008 and my strategy basically involves a 4-4-2 diamond, pass the ball into the net style of play.

I buy Pro Evo, I try to pass the ball into the net on the 'regular' setting and there is always a defender in the way...

Basically, has anyone got any tips on what to do in the final 3rd. I have played 9 games and have scored 3 goals... I always have 60% possession.. its getting really annoying.

Second question. Corners. Any tips on actually dropping it onto a strikers head. Tips are much appreciated.

Well if you're playing a 4-4-2 Use your Side midfielders Try a through Ball (Triangle button) but once you let go of the button press L1 this play a through ball to your Striker and the side midfielder also makes a run to goal

Once your striker has the ball run with it a little when you hit the 18 yard box hold R2 cut into the box and unleash a strike, it's the most effective way to score easy goals if the keeper tries to save it usually comes back off him and a player can just simply tap it in.

But to be honest just keep playing, you will find your suited style through playing a lot.
