Ruining discs?

I'm a bit wary about putting the data from my PS2 version of PES4 onto my PC. Can the disc be ruined in my CD-Rom drive? Has anyone elses ever been ruined?

Only if you keep razor blades in your CD drive.

You will also need a DVD writer drive if you are intending to patch your game.

Put your game disk into the pc dvd drive and you'll see that it shows you what it contains. It will only damage your game disk if you have a dodgy drive that damages all your other disks.

So, the fact I can play Footy Manager '05 means it wouldn't get ruined?

It will get ruined as much as ANY other disc would.
