The Boss
Newest Screenshots are always at the bottom of this thread
Unlike the previous fake batch of screenshots... these are very real! And hopefully the first of many screenshots from Konami's forthcoming Winning Eleven 8, which will become Pro Evolution Soccer 4 when released in Europe.
There are only 3 screenshots in this initial release from Konami. The first appears to be a replay or from the intro sequence. It shows Raul of Spain dribbling past Butt of England. The creases and lighting on the shirts look much more realistic than ever before. The other two screenshots shows us ingame footage of what appears to be Arsenal vs. Chelsea being played at Highbury in a night match. This screen reveals a new scoreboard design in the top right corner of the screen. Also on screen is the referee, who as we already reported, will be visible for the first time during gameplay in Winning Eleven 8.
Unfortunatley from what you can see, the crowd remains flat, as do any stewards or officials standing around the edge of the pitch. Also it does not appear that there will be any linesman to accompany the referee, which is a little disapointing, but at least there is one step in the right direction by including the referee.
