Does anyone know if it's possible to play a season in a league - as you would as a singleplayer - online with a friend, where you both control a player on the same team - just like in a normal exibition game with two controllers on one machine and screen?

Does anybody know if that's possible in either FIFA- or PES 09?
It has a somewhat major influence in which game I think I'm going to buy this year...

I'm not sure, it's something I'd like to be able to do as my mate lives in Germany and i'm in England, would be great to be able to do it, especially if you could do a 2 player master league online.
