I recently had to buy a new laptop because my last one died, and the game is running slow on it, just wondered if it had something to do with the graphics card. It's Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900, apparently. My old one had Radeon 9000 (Advent 7016 laptop) so it worked fine, slowed down only occasionally (and would sometimes crash and switch off the computer).

When I installed the game yesterday and played it straight away it seemed fine. Then I loaded my old option files and it runs slowly on those.

Does this sound familiar to anyone or do you ahve any suggestions? Is the accelerator patch reliable?

Seems it only runs slowly on wide camera angle (which I usually use). I think on normal long it's fine. Hmmm...
