Can anyone explain to me how to fix the collars for WE7iJ as I have the new Waterloo tool but can't seem to get the option to fix the collars.

Where´s exactly your problem ? There is a "have collar/no collar" option in waterloo´s tool on the right side.

I can't seem to even load up the slpm file to have the chance to select have collar etc. I have used the tool before for WE7 no probs and once I get to load up the slpm I will have no probs then but I just can't seem to load it up.

Put this file ("save as", rename to .dat) in the same folder as the slpm and the waterloo.exe, select "other" in waterloo´s tool, then "scan", select your slpm, click again on "scan", then "yes" then "retrieve file".
Note, you cannot use an already edited slpm, means that a slpm from a patched image probably won´t work, you have to use a slpm from a clean image
