Again I'm surprised that people who use both forums can't be bothered to share new patch info with everyone.

Here ya go. A WE9 patch with kits. Not 100% but looks good.

Ok i've finaly finished my we9 kits patch
So wots in it ???....KITS :lol:

All kits updated to 05/06 where available about 90%,where not available 04/05 kits have been used.
Official numbers & letters for most teams have been added with correct colour (to the best of my knowledge)& i've used Konami prem numbers ,where official fonts have'nt been added Konami default ones have been used,& with correct colour (to the best of my knowledge).
ALL collars are now correct & all licenced teams who's kits i've replaced have been made to unlicenced teams so you can access them in edit mode to do the 2D kits , (which i haven't made by the way).
Thanks to Kel & JJ for the kits & thanks to all the lads in the we/pes fonts thread,Obocaman for GFX Studio & Waterloo for WE9_set_default_color.....your time & effort is beyond value !!Ohh & if i forgot any other kit makers let me know & i'll credit you, some of the kits are from my we8le iso so i dunno who made em all!
NOTE: I have not included promoted teams,you will have to do this yourself.

All dutch teams are back to default as theres not enough kits out there to replace them ,but i've replaced Ajax.
Leverkusen bug fixed
Korea fixed
Caen fixed
Porto fixed
Rangers fixed
+ anything else i found wrong!!
ALL teams are now unlicenced so that you can get to them in edit mode.
that way if you replace any kits you got easy access to check them.
All collars have been fixed,i went thru the game starting at Rep Ireland & finishing at River Plate checking all four kits for each team & there all good

New users don't need the first patch as this is another full patch,but if you've already applied the first patch don't worry you can just apply the FIXED PATCH straight over the old one.
Follow the same instructions below,to apply,rebuild etc:BUT...you MUST use the new OF thats in the FIXED PATCH rar(i've included .xps & bin&cue) or the kits won't be corrected.
Either use the new OF or copy the strip data with save data manager, those of you without 2 mem cards ...go buy another,if you get a non sony one there £6.99,thats a lot cheaper than the 16 discs i went thru making this patch.NOTE: I have removed the old link to save confusion

Instructions (Please make sure to read the option file bit, it's very important).

Download the rar & extract the 3 folders to the desktop.
stick your iso in a folder( the files in your iso must be all named unknow_*** etc) & then open DKZ Studio,click file> open a file> & then load the patch from the "PATCH" folder,now click patch> apply patch in image & choose your iso.
When process has finished you will have a new 0_TEXT.afs in a new folder where your iso is.

Building a new iso

1.Extract the files from the your iso.

a) Create a new folder on your hard drive to store the extracted files.
b) Open Apache 2 and click on file > open file.
c) Navigate to the .iso file and click on "open".
d) Select all the files and folders in the list (17) and right click on one of them and click on "extract".
e) Navigate to the new folder that you created on your hard drive and click "ok".
f) Wait for the process to finish then close Apache 2 .

2.Putting bigger 0_TEXT.afs files in.

a) Take your 0_TEXT.afs file(Kits patched one) that DKZ created & put it in the folder where you extracted all the files from your iso,make sure it is named the same as the one in the folder, you will be asked if you want to overwrite the existing one click "Yes".

3.Convert the extracted files into an .iml file to rebuild the .iso

a) Open CD/DVDGEN.
b) Select "create new project" and then select "DVD-ROM Master Disc". Drag CD/DVDGEN to the left of your screen.
c) Navigate to the folder that you created on your hard drive, back in step 2 and open it on the right of your screen.
d) Set the view in folder options to list . This will place the files into the same order as they were on the game DVD .
e) Scoop them all up so that ther' all highlighted and drag all the files (17) into the right side of CD/DVDGEN.
f) Then click on the "Volume" tab in CD/DVDGEN - type SLPM into the 1st box near "Disc Name" and 66009 into the 2nd box.
g) Type PLAYSTATION for the producer name and select JAPAN for licence area.
h) Click File > Export iml file, & save to the same folder as all your files and name the file WE9.
i) When its finished you will have 2 files named WE9.iml AND WE9.ims.
j) Close CD/DVDGEN .

4.Convert the extracted files into an iso image .

Open Apache 2 again & Click File > Import IML File & select the WE9.iml file from the folder where you saved it.
All files will be imported ,you should check that there's 17 files .
Then Click File > Build Iso ,choose a directory for your iso & name it WE9,wait for it to finish building .
Done !!!!! Burn!!!

You could also use the Nero DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO)way.

Important: Option File

You MUST either use my OF which is included in the rar as an xps & bin & cue, or copy the strip data from it with in game save data manager(you will need 2 mem cards for this)to your OF, or the strips wont work right. If you use your existing OF without copying the data ,don't come crying to me when the kits don't work!!!!!

Blind people should read my last post.
All tools for patching including the CDVD prog are in the TOOLS section of File Downloads.

And the method to apply this patch is all in the first post. If you want to make up your own method, it is most likely to fail. Follow the instructions to get success.

Just re-patched/re made WE9 + WEmerica v3.0 with Hawke's WE9 Kits patch,
Please read the tutorial in 1st post which is very helpful,
followed it step by step and had no problems at all.

Used Hawke's BIN/CUE format OF (xps format also available).

As mentioned licensed teams can be edited now, for example Barcelona....
When playing a friendly match with them the team name appeared in english
within menu's, stat screens etc. - BUT - when playing in Master League
the team name would be in jap (strange but true).
I've managed to fix this by going to the in-game editor, and editing the name again*.

*NOTE: OF's auto save feature must be ON, to save any setting changes made.
In edit mode team name will/may be in english, as it should be
but you must confirm it's the name you want the team to be called.

+Team Name Editing+

In WE9 main menu select 'EDIT' press O,
-> Edit Mode menu select 'Edit Team' press O,
select desired league & team to edit,
-> Edit Team menu select 'Team Name' press O,
you'll see team emblem, short and long team name (eg; BAR-Barcelona).
-> Select long name & press O, keypad will appear,
on left of keypad change 'Katakana' to 'Letters' then...

(a) if name is already in english then press 'START'
or select from right of keypad 'Done' & press O.

(b) If name requires to be altered do so, when done press
'START' or select from right of keypad 'Done' & press O.

-> Done, press X (several times) to move back to Edit Mode main menu.
You may continue editing or select 'End editing' & press O to exit.
When you exit please note... If OF's auto save feature is ON a
screen pop's-up confirming any changes made to your settings.

NO!!

CD/DVD-ROM Generator is a PS2 programmer tool, in this case used
to recompile extracted/modified WE9 files back to a DVD image or straight to DVDR if CD/DVD-ROM is compatible with your writer.

i try to do the thing's you said in youre manuel,but it doesn't work for me.
point 3:export file iml file and save as he said that the size is to short sectors!so i can go to point 4
is there enyother who have the same problems?

1. Have you extracted all files/folders from original WE9 iso correctly ?
simple check -> have a look at extracted IOP folder and see if it contains files.

2. Have you placed the modified & extracted WE9 files & folders correctly
into CD/DVD-ROM Gen? They should be placed in the following order:

WE9 WEmerica v3.0 iso with Hawke's Kits Patch.

Sometimes you will get errors when using some of the patching programs and it's a problem with the state of your Windows installation. Try it on another PC or backup everything and format your hard disk while re-installing Windows and it might work fine after that.

I mixed my WEmerica v3 with this patch and everything is fine except the ac milan and inter shorts! They are a weird colour!

Just checked on mine, are you using Hawke's Option File?...

Exhibition Match Mode
Inter shorts are black with team emblem front right leg,
white # & nike logo front left leg. Also has a small blue
triangle at the bottom, centre of both leg sides.

A.C shorts are black with team emblem front right leg,
yellow # front left leg and has 3 thin red lines
from top to bottom, centre of both leg sides with
(a) under the 3 lines on the left side is a small adidas logo.
(b) can't make out what is under the 3 lines on right, sorry.

Both shorts seem fine to me.

Home: Traditional green/white horizontal stripes.
front -> centre has carling logo & team emblem just on top of it. black nike logo top right of chest.
back -> top has name in black. centre has #'s in white with thin black border.

Away: Green, collar is white (from it a thin white stripe extends across shoulders & under armpits.
front -> centre has carling logo & team emblem just on top of it. yellow nike logo top right of chest.
back -> top has name in yellow. centre has #'s in yellow.

When I open it just says Exit, View Patch note and apply patch.
There's no ''creat new project'' or somthing like that.

To run CD/DVDgen you have to patch/crack it.
depending on the version you are using...
this are the name's of the patch/crack files
usually found within each versions install folder;

1. CD/DVDgen v1.20 has Cdvdgen120CDpatch
2. CD/DVDgen v1.50 has CDVDGEN 1.50 Crack

run any of the above and follow instructions before runnin CD/DVDgen.
