Weird online pattern & slide tackling

has anybody else experienced some of the following online. Firstly whenever i play online i win most of my matches,i am pretty good at the game,my online rating is around 650,i always notice an odd pattern occurring all the time,i win 7 or so matches in a row and then lose the following two,i tend to beat the players who are similarly ranked or ranked higher comfortably & lose to extremely lower ranked players,this occurs all the time. Like a pattern always develops? Secondly when an opponent is attacking around the half way line & i got to slide tackle with the closest selected player,my centre back decides to commit a slide tackle off the ball & ends up getting sent off,its happening on a regular now,is this due to the fact i use semi automatic controller settings?
