What does form stat mean exactly?

This is irking me a bit. What does Form stat exactly mean. A higher number, say 7 or 8, means the player will have his form bar set to RED for most fo the matches or does it mean that his form will not get BLUE and PURPLE for mejority of his matches. Also, does my players' form arrow goes to BLUE or PURPLE if i loose 3-4 games in a row? I have CISSE with form 5 banging in goals day in day out but for last 5-6 games he is on either PURPLE or BLUE? Why is that ?? Can some one throw some light on this mysterious STAT?

Statistically, its the same thing lol. No differrance at all which way its encoded.

Yeah i noticed some correllation between productivity of the player and his form, but the correlation is positive for me. The better the player performs, the better his form is on average.
But of course its ust an assuption and I might be completely wrong.

The short answer is: fuck all.

Considering the form arrows are and always have been completely random the form stat is completely meaningless. Unless Konami are adjusting your stats behind the scenes in relation to your "form" and regardless of what colour arrow you have, which would be confusing and pointless.......and SO like Konami.
