Looking for some help... my setup at home is that I have a USB Modem attached to my computer and my PC is also linked via NIC card to my fathers PC. When I got to play online It automatically takes my home IP address unless I disable the NIC card. Anyone know how I can make the game automatically take the IP of my cable modem without having to disable my Network Card?

disabling would work...while a pain, yes

you might also want to check the metric of the NICs and make sure that your USB modem (which suck btw because they arnt normal NICs) has the lowest metric, thus making it the NIC chosen first by default.

if you go to the command line and type 'ipconfig /all' and the order of the NICs is usually listed by metric, whichever shows up first is the safe bet as to which one will be found first by the game.

you can change the metric in the TCP/IP settings, go into the advanced button and there is a checkbox usually checked for 'automatic metric'

uncheck that, make you usb modem 1, and your other one like 10, or anything bigger than one.
