XBOX Live! HDD rumour??

Hi

A friend of mine who works for Micorsoft, has told me on the "hush hush", that PES4 on the XBOX will feature simulataneous background matches which will be processed by the HDD.

This basically means that if you are playing a world cup, then you can see other team results from your group flash up during your game, which will then in turn allow you to alter your game to either push for the win or relax knowing that your are either through to the next stage or out!!

If this is true then this will add a an extra degree of relaism, and will make matches more tense.. has anyone else heard this anywhere...?? other than my friend, I cannot find any information regarding this on the Net.

Also he says that on the XBOX, at the end of each game (if you are playing multiplayer on 1 team (ie 2 of you controlling the same team, then it will display a rating for both you and your mate - another excellent feature, so you can rub your mates face in it.

Anyway just passing on the info - hope this is true and not a load of bull!

Whats your thoughts on this??

Well if he works for Microsoft and has access to information like this then it is true. However, I kind of find all this hard to beleive. It would be included in the Online menu and features and it's not...

Still a month to go till the release so we will see what happens.

well maybe not milosh as it would be a 3.0 feature (and they dont usually list them)
but if it is in a atourney mode that would be fantastic!

The menu as shown on our video on Xboxworld.nl was from a beta version. Especially the Live menu's are definetely not 'finished'. I actually saw a placeholder, while booting up the match on Gamestars Live :) Some sort of DOS screen, with ASCII text info.

So don't go by what you saw from the Live menu screens untill now. It could all change.

And this would be 1 helluva cool feature!

The version we got was 80% finished and there's no indication about it...
However, it would be nice to see these features, (it's not that it is too complicated to put them in...)

We just need to wait and see :)
