In about 25 matches I must have had one match that was not spoiled by lag, I have a 2mb connection, even tried unhooking the ethernet cable from my PC to test that out but still got lag, is this to do with Konami's servers?
There are no servers. It depends on the host's upload speed. Some people have slow connections and some fools use their internet connection for browsing/downloading while playing online and this causes lots of lag. Avoid people who give you lag.
Play in a league or ladder. If somebody gets complained about having too much lag they will get banned. I play in this one and so far have had very little lag.
