I would like to get peoples opinions on what console plays PES5 better, and I mean throu out not just against the computer but online and graphics and just generally what console would you prefer to play it on?

i find it ridiculously hard to score on xbox. Case in point: through 15 games in ML (5 stars) I have 13 draws and two 1-0 wins.

i have only played on PS2 maybe 10 times but w/ the 2 triggers, ballhandling was soo much easier. I only scored fewer than 2 goals once or twice. You can actually do the drawback move under pressure with it feeling natural.

The other thing that cripples me on xbox- the crummy dpad- is also remedied by the PS2 controller.

On xbox, i have to use the analogue b/c the dpad is so unreliable. But even with the improvement of the analogue, I would say maybe 2 in 10 of my balls go to the wrong player. It's just not precise enough compared to PS2 dpad. Ive heard their is an xbox adaptor which allows you to use PS2 controllers... anyone know of this?

Well Iv just bought an XBOX and the question was really weather to convert to XBOX Pro Evolution Soccer 5 or still keep my PS2 for Pro Evolution Soccer 5... But by there sound of things PS2 is the best option for the game in general.

I would like peoples opinions on online play between PS2 and XBOX, cause iv heard the XBOX is more stable and alot better online... is this true?

I prefer the PS2 controlls as I always shoot with the 'placed' shot using R2, it's far more difficult with the Xbox because you have to hold the black button whilst trying a placed shot. Generally the PS2 is better also so I voted PS2.

I have played on both quite a bit but i am glad i own the PS2 version as it feels more like football and after a few games on the Xbox my hands hurt and i have to take a break. I dont like this!!

Yeah just do a search on amazon.com for abox to ps2 controller adapter and you will find it.

I just ordered one last week and it only cost $16.95 with tax and shipping. It shipped pretty quick maybe about a week.

It makes winning eleven play like a beauty on the xbox with the ps2 controller. Better graphics of the xbox with the controller of a ps2 makes the game amazing.

Just in case you are wondering there is no lag with the converter just make sure that you use a ps1 analog controller because with the ps2 pressure sensitive controller the response time is slower because you have to press the buttons harder. and a ps1 one controller only cost like $5 at gamestop used.
