You've lost that winning feeling...

Big hello to everybody from Australia, home of one of the worst players in the game, Rick Fox - his stats look good, but like in real life, his computer self will always cost you at some point in a game.

During the way too many hours I spend playing what is undoubtedly the greatest game ever, I find my Master League team goes on winning and losing streaks and, the more you lose, the worse your team plays (and, visa versa when I'm winning - which is never enough!). Does the game factor in the results of previous games to determine how your team will play in the next game? Do people think there is a 'team performance' type hidden stat beyond the red/green/blue arrows for individual players and the intergration ratings which are displayed?

Occasionally too, if I have been on a winning streak and am top of the table, teams which are doing terribly come out and play like Real Madrid. Do teams elevate their performance when playing teams ranked him on the table? Or do teams become complacent, which explains why in some games my highly intergrated and quite able team cannot pass or shoot to save themselves... Or am I just an incredibly inconsistent player...?

Thoughts appreciated...

Same happens to me.

In a game where I suppose to win, I concede on 25 mins.
In my anger I fly into tackles and urge to score,
then concede again on 40 mins.
I thought this can't get worse so I quicken the pace in counterattack and do sloppy defending, and to round of all those...

...I concede again on 45 mins.

Just like in real life. when you are out of focus you get wasted. what happens to me is that I suddenly notice that I start to keep my finger pressing R1 and X for longer periods of time...then I know that I'm outta focus and need to relax. Pause the game, get a drag out of that spliff and carry on...

The other day I was looking for a parking spot for like an hour, when I see this babe going near her car. I stopped my car in the middle of the road, just thinking that I'm not losing this parking spot for ANYTHING. It took that **** 5 minutes to take her car out, which almost cost me a fist fight with this taxi driver that had to wait behind, along with the other 40 or so more drivers.....she was talking on her cell phone, sorting shit in her bag, got in, lit a cigarette, sorted through her bag again, strapped on the seatbelt and then reveresed the car, which by itself took about 2 minutes....

After the early goal both sides playing well, until Arsenal scored again.
Dented PSV's confidence to allow them to score AGAIN.
Then in added time they gave up so Arsenal scored YET AGAIN.

Watched in hope of an upset.....didn't come.....

cards guy - if u want the best example of strong character - remember man utd v. bayern munich 1999 CL finals. Even though I'd hate to admit it, man utd have very good character.
It's amazing to watch a team play and just believe that they will win.
I hate man utd. ugliest football ever.
Also note juve v. barca last year in the cl quarter finals - barca without davids, going into OT, Zalayeta scoring on the 116th minute.
ALSO, last night I was playing with my mates and we just managed to get one of the guys into a losing streak, and ripped off at him.........quality.

lol. We got along up until now Rebus. Listen, me coming from Israel I can't really talk about Ugly football....and when I was in London 6 weeks ago I went to c them play everton (had 2 drive 4 hours each direction, but they won 3-2).
They play GREAT football, the only 2 things are:
1. I hate MU
2. I do prefer more tactic, planned football than football that's based on pure speed and strenth, or some players (RVN RVN RVN RVN RVN RVN RVN RVN) ability to score.
that's all.
And arsenal's game is oh SO MUCH more aesthetic than MU's.

True about RVN. They actually were better as a spectacle b4 RVN and in early RVN. But now, it is a bit ugly. Hopefully Saha will change that and Ole Solskjaer returning to their team. All 3 teams on their day can play breathtaking fluid footie. Perhaps Everton weren't the best opponents to display that? They play decent footie but they're not Juve or Real, etc.

I also think that Fergie is going towards muscle players and less to do with flair. Djemba-Djemba? Kleberson?

a good point there. say, what happened to Giggs? he used to be a real influence and now he's, well not total, but kinda crap. and yeah, what'dya expect from Fergie - he likes the big mean guys, who were probably school bullies when they were kids, just like him.
