I'd recommend getting a X-Box 360 instead. ;) Unless you already have one of course.

The best 3 out are; Motorstorm (no split-screen mulit-player though), Resistance (You can get 40 player in an online game) and Oblivion. (Although you might not be into that type of game. I'm not, but still found it quite fun)

What games would you recommend for the PS3, lads? Should be getting one for my Birthday coming up. :)

Depends on what sort of games you like.

But the best 3 out so far is just what Dan said, and only Oblivion doesn't have online, but it's a huge game.

If you love Golf, Tiger Woods you can't go wrong with it, FANTASTIC!

The Godfather is a decent game but don't expect much out of it.

NBA 2K7 is also the best basketball game out there if you're into that. Avoid Genji dude.

Keep us updated. :)

what about Full Auto 2?? its like Halo but with cars, theres speed, crashing, explosions...

You know, like I said it depends on whom the player is. Full Auto 2 for me is quite a dissapointment, I played the demo and didn't enjoy it. I know it's not the full game and maybe I am quick to judgement. But I can say it looks good especially on HDTV, it's got cool features, Arena mode is a nice addition albeit boring at times and the Story mode from what I heard is bad. Also has online compatibility.

However, I'd pick MotorStorm easily if you're after a game with explosions, crashing, speed and all that. Online mode in MotorStorm is also ranked so you have something to prove. :)

Yeah man get motorstorm! I've not needed to get any other games (except the free online demos) since I got my PS3 on release day... It's a lotta fun.

I posted this on the US forums, thought I would share here with my friends across the pound.

OK, I was messing around with the PSP to PS3 Remote use. Here's the set up.

One of my PS3's is downstairs in my living room. I turn on the PS3 to Remote play, and run upstairs to listen to some tunes and such while upstairs.

Now my PS3 has an EYETOY hooked up to it, so I was wondering if I could start a Video Chat with my PSP thur Remote play.

Sure enough It works.... Not only could I get another person into my Video chat, but I can also see my Downstairs living room on my PSP FULL SCREEN.

I played around with it, and now if I wanted to watch what ever was going on where ever my PS3 is I can thur remote play.

This means once Remote play can take place thur any WiFi area, you can leave your PS3 on, Just to see what is going on at home where ever your Eyetoy is facing. Not telling wife, want to see what she's up to while I'm at work =p, and now I can see what dog is chewing up the couch =p ( have 3 dogs... ones being naughty )

Stranglehold "expected in August," BlackSite: Area 51 demo coming.

Zucker also narrowed the release window for Strangehold, the eagerly awaited game pseudo-sequel to the classic John Woo action film Hard Boiled. According to the executive, the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 title "is expected in August." That puts it just ahead of a crowded fall season, which will include heavy hitters like Microsoft's Halo 3 and Take-Two's Grand Theft Auto IV.

"We feel very good about the games we have coming out," Zucker told analysts. "Stranglehold is our first major, ambitious next-generation title. It's the one to look at in terms of critical reception for what we're planning."

Father ahead, Midway will release BlackSite: Area 51 on the PC, 360, and PS3 in the fall. Zucker promised a demo for the shooter is also in store, in order to "give gamers a look at this exceptional high-quality game led by [Midway Austin creative director] Harvey Smith."

Stranglehold Gets Hard Boiled

John Woo's upcoming Stranglehold video game will deliver a one-two punch for the Sony PlayStation 3 when it is released this summer. In addition to the game, which continues the story of Inspector Tequila (Chow Yun-Fat), a PS3 collector's edition ($70) of the game will also include a full-length remastered high-def version of the 1992 film Hard Boiled, the Hong Kong action film starring the character.PS3 games are stored on Blu-ray discs, which can hold up to 50 Gigabytes of video and game content. A new 15th anniversary DVD will be issued this summer, too - the DVD has been out of print for several years. The game will also be released for Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Windows PCs.Director Woo (Face/Off and Mission: Impossible II) says, "Stranglehold will allow people to actually be Tequila, taking out enemies using duel-wieldgin weapons and bringing together heart-stopping stunts, vehicle-to-vehicle combat and fluid, seamless gunplay to create an interactive Hong Kong action film experience."
