you could say the exact same about currency or kits then.

Yes I can and to be honest neither of those bother me much. Since being unable to edit kits on the 360 I've grown used to the defaults and if we're being honest master league on pes is wank so I couldn't care abput currency. PES is only a great multi player game.

Also kits and currency are a bit more important then balls. From the angle you play at you can hardly tell any detail on the ball

Actually, the ball matters a lot to me. It doesn't change the gameplay but I like it to be nice and visable when playing. I can't stand those black or blue Reebok balls on dark pitches. You can't see them.

I'm very much with you on this Sully. Back in the day when I had a lot of time to waste I'd play pro endlessly, this included the master league. But now I've grown up and although I still have plenty of free time, scoring a goal against the computer just doesn't bring me the same joy as say scoring against a mate.

I just hope that the online mode is vastly improved.

I forget, when you see pub, autograph, interview etc.. isn't cut scene, it's just screenshots, but the colors of the team, the players, team logo change.

Some translations of the pes 2008 article off the same Mag (Credit to Kouroux):

They say that passing is "manual" or something and that you can send the ball towards much more angles than before. Defenders seems much responsive to intercept the ball. 2 types of running, quick running (sprint) with R1 and slower running with R2 (better for dribbling I guess). Long passes have been improved, the ball can go much further than before. Shooting is harder (as in more difficult), in order to release a powerful you'll have to press the square button longer than before (can be exciting when you're closed down by opponents).

It appears to be that there won't be any PES SHOP (at least) in the PS3 version. Some reward for achieving stuff like the fifth hat-trick, scoring 500 goals since every stats of every match will be recorded. Shirt pulling happens whenever you apply some heavy pressure on your opponent when you're behind him (it's automatic), in the magazine they say that maybe some people will use this opportunity to dive.

Sounds great but I can't believe Chelsea are licensed after seeing a screenshot of a copyrighted Spurs badge! Admittedly it wasn't an official release but I doubt Konami would release a preview/beta copy with that badge and all the legal ramifications it could lead to. I guess we shall see.

Diao

The People's Champ
Konami must of saw Spurs opening 2 matches and decided not to have a club like that represent them :ninja:

They still might be licensed.

Besiktas and Fener licensed and not even one Greek club. :(

But that will not bother me very much especially if Greece are licensed as this rumour is claiming. Hope it's true!

They still might be mate, it says that the club teams that are listed are the "most important" so there is a chance there is a greek team there. Who knows?
