I agree that Richards should stay in place of Neville.
But no way should Heskey stay instead of Rooney, him and Owen actually play well together.
And in no way is Lampard world class, how people think this I'll never know.
Stick any DECENT midfielder into a Chelsea team with Essien and Makelele around you and just be told to potter about, do what you want, take EVERY corner, free kick and penalty and of course your going to score and get alot of assists.
The reason he is shite for England is because he cant defend and all he knows is to just go forward which leaves Gerrard staying back.

Anyone else download the Fifa 08 demo yesterday on the PSN Store?

Thank God the Spanish and French commentary is still included. Although i'm not familiar with Jon Champion. Let's see how the new commentary duo does, and that they have a good script.

downlaoding demo now,someone on the demo thread reckons there is a pes2008 demo on xbox live america?any truth to this?you make some good points,i think i resind my world class statement coz when you think about it hes no where near as good as say ronaldinho,kaka or totti ect,even essien.is the fifa demo pap then?

I thought it was terrible.
Im not being biased at all, I wanted to like it as its a next gen footie game.
Controls are so unresponsive and the passing and shooting are terrible.
Might be fixed for release but who knows.
And seeing how we have all seen the amazing faces recently on PES2008 they are unbelieavebly horrible on Fifa.
Way too sweaty looking is the best way to describe it.
And from normal playing view its hard to make out who is on the ball unless you look at the player name at the bottom, on Pro I find i can just tell. Even on the PS2 version!

On a side not where is everyone getting their copy of PES2008 from?

Ive pre ordered mine from Play.com - as you 100% get it on release day, sometimes if your lucky day before and I know my local shop will stock it Thursday night but I pre ordered Heavenly Sword from sendit.com about 2 weeks ago and that was sent out last Wednesday and I got it the next day as in yesterday so I might order it from them instead.

mixed feelings about fifa,i feel theyve told us all these extras like online 11on11 yet havent changed how the game feels at all.in 3 games i scored 1 tap in that was it.passing is irresponsive and 1st touches way too slow,no point in having all the skills as they dont seem to beat anybody.it is better,but for me still not good enough.faces are terrible,i looked at inter team seen crespo instead of adriano and thought good decision but when i played i thought crespo was adriano,how black is he!

i usually buy from play,always arrived on the thurs for the past 4yrs or summat but this year im gonna use my mates discount at morroisons and get it for prolly £30,bioshock was in there for £33 and i used his discount and got it for £30 so may aswell save a tenner.perhaps asda if im awake,could always drive up since its 24hrs a day.not that desperate though :)

i can see the point in only letting you play one half of a short game in a demo,just frustrating(FIFA 08 im talking about)
