I think that it's because the guy was playing on Amateur difficulty.

One possible positive to take from it is the fact that the crossing looks far better.
jjst because its amateur difficulty it shouldnt happen. It was a cringe worthy moment and to have it when he is supposed to be showing off the improvements in the game. ps, when was maschereno so good with his left foot from long range?

Maybe you should shut up. Every player can shoot a good shot with ther weaker foot. In fifa they shoot with both legs and they are the same. Almost no difference at all. At least in 07 on ps2 it used to happen to me a lot. Also ameteur is for every player including the goalkeeper. Jesus I thought it was obvious.

Hope they fix the running. The players seem to be "gliding" over the pitch.
Parches,kiteservers,,,,ect,,,etc,ah y virus! ya hubo varios casos q cuando se bajan los parches para los pes,nos encontramos con virus,o no nos funciona el pes,u otra cosa.Konami creo yo q se tendria q fijar en el año en q estamos ya! konami...2008/2009,y encima sacan la liga española,no tiene la premier y encima tiene a penas 20 estadios,mientras q el fifa trae todas las licencias,varios estadios y mas cosas!!!.¿Porque no colocan la liga Argentina y la liga Brasileña?,si no pueden pagar la LFP q paguen las ligas de sudamerica,para que el juego no pierda emocion!.Ah y el nuevo modo de juego "se una leyenda" o algo asi ,pregunto:Cuando nos cansemos de jugar a ese modo ¿que vamos a hacer?,¿ a esperar otro año mas para q salga el pes 2010 asi como ahora?

You just contradicted yourself in the above statement, which clearly shows youre a fanboy, so Im not going to discuss this with you anymore. Enjoy PES whilst I enjoy the release of fia 09. Hopefully when you get to play fifa 09 one day, you will realise how stupid you were.

I didn't contradict myself. I said that in fifa they shoot with both legs even if a player is right foot. He can shoot just as good with his left. In Pro it's much more difficult to score with the weaker foot. I played Fifa 08 and yes it is an improvement and I admit that it was the best fifa game but this year I can't see fifa winning. iF YOU SEE PRO EVO VIDEOS YOU'LL REALIZE HOW GOOD IT IS. THE GRAPHIC ARE BETTER, GAMEPLY HAS REALLY IMPROVED (PASSING IS MUCH BETTER AND THE SHOOTING IS HARDER) AND THE EDIT MODE IS AWESOME AGAIN. I will play fifa 09 too because I'm not a fanboy. I suggest you take a look at Pes 09 but I guess your fanboyism will block your eyes.

Crossing has always been an issue in Pes, hasn't it?? I mean, in PES5 and PES6 the Crossing was probably the weakest Aspect of the Gameplay.. Something that needs a lot of Improving are the "Ground Crosses".
And yeah, by the looks of it, it seems the Crossing has improved..
sorry but how can i be a fanboy, ive already explained. OK, you probably are one of the few who aren fanboys on this forum, but you cannot say the graphics on pro re better thsan fifa. Apart from the faces (which hardly uses much graphical power), the player details are very basic. Passing just looks like the ball is pin balling everywhere because of the 2nd rate ball pjhysics in the game. And crossing...the ball seems to go very flat, not much curve and variation in height. Edit mode has always been my favourite part of pes though. But from what Ive seen, fifa 09 is much better. Im definitely not a fanboy, but its just how i see it. The people who came back from leipzig werent all too impressed with pes either.

People will always complain about games. I will have to say the final judgment when thwe game is released. As for graphics, Pro is better apart from the stadiums. The player models are much better in pro. Also everyone will respect your opinion but you don't need to post it in every topic and start new one and all against pro. Fifa got some bad reviews too like "it looks the same as last year". Again I won't comment until the final game is released.

I was as disgusted as the next man with PES 2008, but it's pretty clear that PES has the better player models by quite a margin. The players in FIFA look completely disproportionate, with every player looking unrealistic. The stadium graphics in FIFA are certainly better, no question about that but it really bothers me the fact that EA are unable to create realistic-looking players. As for "2nd rate ball physics" in PES, I honestly find that laughable, I thought it was known worldwide that PES has far greater ball physics. I played on FIFA a few months ago against a friend, and we were honestly baffled with the ball physics. The ball seemed to refuse to go out of play, the bounce of the ball was totally unrealistic. I just hope they're able to sort these problems out for FIFA 09. Any improvement in the FIFA series will only motivate Konami more in developing the PES series, so it works out best for both parties.
