I read on an earlier post about stadiums etc, but I was just wondering if any one had any news on the stadiums because it failed to mention on the earlier post. I was reading a few weeks ago on different sites about the emirates, old trafford, anfield and stamford bridge all being on thier but hasnt seen them on any of the pes videos posted, anyone got any info about this?

Im 100% positive that the emirates and stamford wont be on as neither Chelsea or Arsenal are licensed. Not sure about the other 2 mind, all i know is that Wembley is there, sorry.

ahh i see, a little dissapointed as the stadiums from the premier league on pes aren't the best and there are very little of them. I really enjoyed playing at anfield and highbury when they were about but a little dissapointed with this result. Thanks for your help though.

All I know there are 24 stadiums in PES2009, the original 15 from 2008 and Wembley.
That leaves 8 more unknown stadiums which I haven't heard anything about, don't know about anyone else.

As for the Emirates and Stamford Bridge being in PES2009, in PES5 only Arsenal and Chelsea were licenced but Old Trafford, Anfield and Sid James Park were in the game. No reason why Stamford Bridge or the Emirates can't be in PES2009, although I do agree that they probably won't.

the other 8 stadiums will belong other champions league team
i reckon Sporting, Lyon, Celtic, Atletico, Villareal, Bayern (? it used by 1860 also), Porto & PSV

And in PES6 (PC/PS2) Man Utd and Liverpool were licenced but Highbury and Stamford Bridge were still in the game from PES5.

stadiums is the biggest let down for me

stupid japanese stadium etc

they should make some generic copies

for instance, fifa have a premier ground given to teams who's ground arent on the game etc.

they could have about 10 famous stadiums then 14 random lookalikes. which could be used.

it wonr be a major problem for arsenal fans if the emirates isnt in the game, as long as benficas stadium is still there thats 95% identical anyway.

well looking at that list (thinking that they will be the actual stadiums) i was quite dissapointed once again with the stadiums put in the game. England is one of the biggest football countries around the world and has some great stadiums, but all pro has to offer is wembley (which btw i think is a great new feature) but still i would have loved to seen the four top premiership teams stadiums in the game. I used to love playing at anfield in a mersyside derby. The good days :)

i know how you feel mate, i was really hoping that celtic park would be in it this year due to the cl license but yet again i will have to play in someone elses stadium

How reliable can this source be if he left out Anfield and Old Trafford? We all know that these two stadiums will be in the game since Liverpool and Man Utd is in the game..or am I wrong and is Konami trying to piss us all off?

yeah i know, I'm pretty sure Anfield and Old Trafford will be included, hopefully they'll include the bridge as well, but considering it's konami (which we all know thrive on dissapointing everybody) I highly doubt it.

don't hold your breath for anfield & old trafford as celtic have been licensed for years but celtic park has never featured in the game. over at wenb they are saying this is the stadium list for the FINAL game.

yeah i know, but there were all kinds of articles that PES09 is the official game of Man Utd and Liverpool, who knows right? Personally I hate Konami, they dissapoint us one way or the other each year...the gameplay better be good

Yes, Konami will never understand what realism is all about. Mighty big talk of how exclusive the licence agreement with Liverpool is going to be... Exclusive Ad boards at the ground, features on the official website links to pes sites even a special liverpool cover for pes2009 but NO anfield in the game? I really do hope I am wrong but if there is no anfield why bother with the licence... what a load of rubbish... 1 week till fifa09
