why did god make you a fifa fanboy?

why did god make you at all...

jeez, how does that make me a fifa fanboy. Are we not allowed to be critical of the game? Plus, I have just played one game of the demo on ps3 and I am disappointed.

if your username was " ProFifa ", we might be more understanding with you .. but nah, you have Fifa closer to your heart :(

" Celtic Vs Rangers " ... even when its at ibrox, i always say Celtic first ... catch my drift;)

ok, positives abotu pro evo, it was the best game up until pro evo 6. Fifa was rubbish until fifa 08. Happy now...?

Seriously, pes has gone downhill ever since and the ball physics are so poor.

thank you zoolander,

now I would love to see one of the pes fanboys use the c word on you haha.

If pes was actually good this year, I would say so. I have been a pro fan for years until last yr when it was utter crap.

Konami have been lazy AGAIN. Anybody who is happy after playing the demo has really low standards. I hope the final game is better.,

Not really. I think if you pushed Seabass he'd say it was shithole.

I think it's fair for people to brand the game "terrible," but I still understand why many people here and on another forum I go on liked it.

I played the game for months no problem, offline lag and all.

Anyway, about this velcro turf thing, I've not noticed it yet, but I will look out for it in my next game. And in my experience, the keepers are fine up to now.

I would maybe say the game was 'lazy' as in it could have been much better which i would imagine 09 will be.
But i still play 08 & enjoy playing master league & the odd online game despite the lag.
Im not completely disagreeing, it's not a great game but i have still enjoyed it as it was still the best reflection of proper football.

The things that pissed me off with PES 2008 was how easy it was to run with one player through a team, the frame rate issues, online, editing functions, the keepers & Luke Young as a black man.

If any of these are on PES 2009 I will go postal.

The ball physics do look a little weird.

After playing another game, I fail to see your point about the "velcro pitch". The ball sticks to the turf no more than a normal football does when a pass is played across the pitch, along the ground.

And I am happy after playing the demo, but trust me, I don't have low standards. Yes, the "C word" is used a little loosely around here, but I can see why sometimes.

Yes that was the point i was trying to make about passing the ball along the ground. It seems we are on the same page.

I do understand what u mean about the frustrations of PES 2008, i sometimes wonder if it was down to konami rushing the game in order to try & compete with FIFA in the sales wars & just wanted to get their foot in the door with their 1st next gen offering.

I do believe that 2009 will be a vast improvement.

I read the official review from the Official Playstation Magazine & they thought it was a big improvement on 2008 & with the inclusion of deeper edit mode which pretty much takes care of the licencing issues.

i've just ran through liverpool with ronaldo and scored on amateur difficulty. But I also conceded 2 goals from corners where my keeper has saved a shot and punched it straight to the opposition. I know danny simpson is white in the game too.
