Yea I suppose, but I personally have never been a fan of FIFA. I gave last years a try due to gettin bored of the easiness of PES & shockin lag on online mode. I only enjoyed the online & ARENA mode on FIFA. I thought the realism of the tricks & the trademark freekick & penalty kick stances (Ronaldinho's) in particular were excellent, although in actual gameplay they were obviously far more difficult to pull off & the trick success rate during actual gameplay was not very high.

As much as Konami try to make PES suck ass, I can't ever pull myself to turn my back on it. If that makes me a fan boy or crazy then so be it. But my personal preference is all that counts to me.

Yeah... I know what you mean. But as I've also floated between the 2 it doesn't really bother me to move back and forth as the best one changes. It's also natural after a prolonged period of success that some less than great versions will be produced, but hey, if you're enjoying it keep playing it.

its definitly better than fifa imo, the players on fifa do not look good at all, the names on the back of the shirts are terrible, looks like they got a 3 year old to design there player models, and the gameplay is far far from pes, when you control players in fifa it feels like you dont have control of the ball, but with pes you feel in complete control.

Go play fifa then. Go to a fifa forum too if you don't like pes. Also I can't say the truth about pes 09 because I can't play the demo since I don't have xbox live but frm the videos, it's crystal clear that it looking like the best pes.

Wait, so you won't trust a long time PES fan who has genuine concern for the way the game has been going, even though he's actually played the game and not just seen a couple of videos. Videos don't show shit about how a game will play!

^Videos show the gameplay. I compared it to pes 08 and 6 and 5. It's closest to pes 5 and I saw it better though I still have to play it to fuly decide. I can't trust you for 1 reason. Because you're one of the few who truly hates the demo. I read other forums aswell and they're happy, much better than 08 they said. Well those are called opinions. Yours is different.

Actually I've seen a few others who have similar opinions here and elsewhere... It might just be that I'm very open and forward about my opinion of it.

Also, never judge a video game by videos...

no 1 will ever make a game everyone loves, people will always find points to pick at to complain its not perfect, thats life!

konami could give you actual control of real players on your tv and people woud still find something to complain about

The whole fifa -v- pes debate is stupid, some people like fifa more some like pes, none will ever agree. Its like following a football team, no matter how shit your team is you will always argue its the best team over anyone elses and point out your teams strong points and ignore any faults

get over it!

oh an for everyone who doesnt like pes, why would u register for a pes forum???

So true, I had fifa 08 and felt like when i passed the ball, it would be a gamble whether or not my player would receive it...It just was not realistic, look forward to pes 09 and hopefully lagless (if thats even a word) online play!!!!

When have I judged the game? I only said that I compared other videos to pes 09 and it SEEMED better. I always say this in the end. "I HAVEN'T PLAYED IT THOUGH." This year unlike the previous, I heared much and much more saying that pes 09 is pretty good. But opinions are opinions.
